Waterfall Bathroom Inspiration
If money was no object, I’d definitely have a waterfall in my bathroom. Seems pretty reasonable for a Hawaiian style home, right?
This waterfall in the bathroom cost a million dollars to build. Ouch!
This waterfall shower, feels really natural to me.

Nautical Beach Cottage Tour
I was browsing through Kate Jackson Interior Design’s portfolio and came across this attractive nautical beach cottage.
I’m loving the monochromatic tones of tan, white, cream and browns. It’s a nice change from the traditional nautical style of using reds and blues. Can you see how easily this could be adapted into a Hawaiian style home?
She uses lots of natural fibers: woven blinds, rattan chair and the jute footstool all placed on a sea grass rug.The rope railing and white bead board walls create a fun nautical vibe.
The bathroom is simple and clean. It’s easy to mix white woods with nautural wood colors. Notice the mirror.
Here are some items, I’ve hand picked that you may love inspired by this nautical home:
Tan and white continues as the color scheme for the beach cottage bedroom. This color scheme works really well with tiki decor. What do you love about this beach cottage?
