    I was browsing through Kate Jackson Interior Design’s portfolio and came across this attractive nautical beach cottage.

    I’m loving the monochromatic tones of tan, white, cream and browns.  It’s a nice change from the traditional nautical style of using reds and blues. Can you see how easily this could be adapted into a Hawaiian style home?

    The Hawaiian Home Has a New Design

    The Hawaiian Home has a new site design. We’ve made it easier to navigate this website and cleaned up the site by getting rid of outdated info. We’ve been blogging since 2008, so we have lots of content. A few things of note include :

    • New Navigation. The main menu is now listed up above the header. The simpler navigation gets you what you need fast.
    • Search Bar. We’ve added a search bar on the right side for you to easily find what you are needing, or you can always email info@TheHawaiianHome.com for specialized help.
    • New Blog. Our new Hawaiian Home Blog is now found here on this site, so now all blog posts will appear in this main section. You can still access the old blog here.
