    3 Best Family Activities

The following are three of the best family activities that all ages will enjoy when taking a family vacation in Oahu, Hawaii.

    1. Sea Life Park. Families love visiting this unique marine animal park, which is perfectly situated in the most perfect coastal area making it a top must-see when visiting Oahu. There’s a tropical bird aviary that all bird lovers will surely enjoy. There’s the opportunity to swim with dolphins and/or sea lions for those who are daring. There are also a number of super enjoyable marine life shows that can be watched throughout the day. One of the best things about Sea Life Park is that there are plenty of fun learning opportunities for kids that allow for a truly enjoyable and educational experience.

    2. Waikiki Aquarium. The Waikiki Aquarium is the third oldest public aquarium in the United States and is located on a live coral reef. Cool! Well-known for its pioneering research, the aquarium is home to nearly 500 different types of marine life, and more than 3000 different types of marine creatures for everyone to closely explore. A ‘reef machine’ even offers a simulated view for understanding what a sea reef environment is really like. Kids will love being able to see everything close up and personal, including sharks for those who are brave!

    3. Honolulu Zoo. The Honolulu Zoo offers families an impressive 42 acres of nearly 1300 different types of mammals, birds and reptiles, all located in an off the beaten path area where any family would surely enjoy spending the day. Conveniently tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Oahu zoo also offers a special section for smaller kids that allow them to get up close and personal with a variety of native animals. Another section houses hippopotamuses, giraffes, zebras and more in a manmade African Savanna habitat, which takes up 12 of the 42 acres.
