Conveniently tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the Oahu zoo also offers a special section for smaller kids that allow them to get up close and personal with a variety of native animals. Another section houses hippopotamuses, giraffes, zebras and more in a manmade African Savanna habitat, which takes up 12 of the 42 acres.
